DON'T ALLOW TEMPORARY THINGS TO STOP YOU FROM LOVING THE LORD.

Love is essential to the Lord who can give you things, Love is essential to the Lord who can give you life, Love is Essential to the Lord who knows the way, Love is essential to the  Lord who is the truth. this month you must not allow things to stop you from loving the Lord more. Yesterday I asked a question from a spiritual sister why they Prayed every Tuesday in her church from morning till 1 pm. I discovered that many love the Lord because of the things he can offer them. When the thought is if the Lord stops giving some Christian things, many we stop loving the Lord.

Our Christian faith must be whether he gives or not I will love him. The recorded history of the 3 friends of Daniel in Daniel 3 should be our standard of Faith. Nothing must Stop God to be our God.  Nothing must stop us from loving the Lord. Let me show you their declaration.

Dan.3.16 - Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you.

Dan.3.17 - If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve can save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty.

Dan.3.18 - But even if he doesn't, Your Majesty can be sure that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up."

Let's define Temporary things: are things that are not permanent or only last for a short time. Hmmm in the case of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego they understand that the fire is a temporary thing, they understand that King Nebuchadnezzar is a temporary thing. So they declare that you King and your gods are temporary; you can't stop us from serving a God that exists and forever exists. Temporary things can be anything in your life. It can be Money, Human beings, Fame, Influence, Titles, Cars, or Houses. Yes, earthly things that come into your heart are temporary. They must not stop you from Loving the Lord.

Don't jump to the wrong conclusion, you can have things. What am saying here is that what you have or don't have arming to have must not stop you from loving the Lord. Read my articles. You know I'm a believer who believes in the progress of everything you do. But the more you're progressive the more you should Love the Lord more. Not should stop you from Loving the Lord. A man advised me one day he said Henry 3 Importance a man must have, 1) God 2) Peace 3) Money. He said you must not let the 3 be number 2 or 1. Cause money can't buy them. When you want to get something or you have something affecting your peace and relationship with God. You must call your attention to it. 

Let me share some scripture with you.

Scripture 1:

Matt.6.19 - "Don't store up treasures here on earth, where they can be eaten by moths and get rusty, and where thieves break in and steal.

Matt.6.20 - Store your treasures in heaven, where they will never become moth-eaten or rusty and where they will be safe from thieves.

Matt.6.21 - Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.

You see, this is an example of things that are temporary and permanent. It means everything on earth is temporary. And only things in heaven are permanent. Simply means we must not allow the things of this earth to stop us from loving the Lord. We need things of this earth to live on this Earth. One of my experiences about the things of the world is that they don't give peace. Even things that you have must help you to love the Lord more.  And whatever you think about every day has to do with what you love for God. if it's things you think about every day. It means your love for the Lord will reduce. Our focus should be on loving God more. And things are added to it.

Finally, you must not allow temporary things. Of this earth, stop you from Loving God more on earth. His Love should be above things. God bless you.
