MAY YOU BE SHOW KINDNESS OF GOD THIS WEEK

MAY YOU BE SHOW KINDNESS OF GOD THIS WEEK.

The story of a man has been coming to my mind since yesterday. The man is a son of Jonathan, the son of Saul called Mephibosheth, He leaves outside the palace, but David finds him, to show him kindness.
Let me share the story with you:

2Sam.9.1 - One day David began wondering if anyone in Saul's family was still alive, for he had promised Jonathan that he would show kindness to them.

2Sam.9.2 - He summoned a man named Ziba, who had been one of Saul's servants. "Are you Ziba?" the king asked. "Yes sir, I am," Ziba replied.

2Sam.9.3 - The king then asked him, "Is anyone still alive from Saul's family? If so, I want to show God's kindness to them in any way I can." Ziba replied, "Yes, one of Jonathan's sons is still alive, but he is crippled."

2Sam.9.4 - "Where is he?" the king asked. "In Lo-debar," Ziba told him, "at the home of Makir son of Ammiel."

2Sam.9.5 - So David sent for him and brought him from Makir's home.

2Sam.9.6 - His name was Mephibosheth; he was Jonathan's son and Saul's grandson. When he came to David, he bowed low in great fear and said, "I am your servant."

2Sam.9.7 - But David said, "Don't be afraid! I've asked you to come so that I can be kind to you because I vow to your father, Jonathan. I will give you all the land that once belonged to your grandfather Saul, and you may live here with me at the palace!"

2Sam.9.8 - Mephibosheth fell to the ground before the king. "Should the king show such kindness to a dead dog like me?" he exclaimed.

If you study the above Scripture very well, you see how kindness finds Mephibosheth, he didn't deserve it, so also we may not deserve this kindness week, But for the seek of Christ, You will be shown kindness this week.

Many of us are like Mephibosheth, But this week the kindness of God will find you. We are like Mephibosheth:

We are hiding, weak, lame, and fearful before the King who comes to us.

We are separated from our King.

We separated ourselves from the King because we didn’t know Him or His love for us.

We must receive the King’s kindness in humility.

The King returns to us more than what we lost when we hid from Him.

We can eat at the King’s table.

We have access to a relationship with Him.

He does not immediately take away our weaknesses and lameness but gives us a favor and standing that overcomes its sting and changes the way we think about ourselves.

No matter who we are, or what we have done, the King still loves us unconditionally.

The word to you this morning is that no matter your condition, your but, Area you need God. For the Seek of Jesus, God will show you kindness this week. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Finally, don't forget to set your goal for this week, and Show Kindness to someone today. God bless you.
