WHAT IS THE GOAL?

WHAT IS THE GOAL?
Scriptural Solution Insight (SSI)
Meditation: Psalm 20:4

We're always in motion, and what makes the motion count is the goal, no matter how long the football game may be, if there is no goal, it can not count. No matter how well Chelsea may play in a match, if there is no goal it's not count. The goal makes the match count. In other words, the goal achieved makes our lives count.

What is the goal?

Psalm .20.4 - May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

In one sentence, a goal is the desire of your heart. Every footballer has in their heart to score in a football match. That's why every player is so committed to playing their game well. Every human has something in them to achieve, but the difference between believers is that we receive our desire of heart from the Father. That's why in a book I introduce to you to read on Monday, the second key to making every year count is the HEART OF GOD.

You can't have a heart for God, and your desired goal will not be about what to do to promote the kingdom of God on earth. One of the strong desires I have for God this year is to reach out to youth in different denominations to share the knowledge of Christ with them, in my areas of Calling. Again I have a desire to release at least 6 books this year.

Every Believer's goal must be power, from their heart for God. One of the reasons I have a strong desire to build my business is just that, I don't want the work of God to suffer financially in my hands. I remember in my birthday retreat last year, I received a goal to build my faith this year, which I have set in motion to build my capacity for what God wants to use my faith for. Any goal that does not come from your heart of God, may lead you astray from God. If a goal comes from the heart of God to you, it will lead you to pray and believe you received it. Let me show you a scripture:

Mark.11.24 - Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

If your goal is your desire, the Bible says that whatever may be your goal, when you pray, You must believe in yourself, that you already have it,

Let me discuss a few keys with you to achieve your goals this year as a believer.

1) A CLEAR DEFINITION OF YOUR GOAL( desire)? What is the goal, when I am having my retreat one of the goals is that I will read 3 books on faith before March. And one of the goals again is that I will write 2 books before March. You can see the clarity. I know everything I want this year.

What is your goal?
What do you desire?

A clear definition of goal, Make your focus, and not be distracted.

2) PRAY ABOUT YOUR GOAL. That the goal comes from your heart of God, doesn't mean you should not pray about it, in the above Bible verse it says that whatever your goal may be, It's when you pray you can believe in it and receive it.
Pray about your Goal. I call this hand it over to God.

3) SET A WORKABLE ACTION PLAN, Many believers for a long time looked down on planning, as if is a sin for one to plan it way to achieve something, prayer alone doesn't deliver his plan for us, this is one of the reasons Bishop Oyedepo always say Praying without planning, is playing without knowing.  If God gives you direction, you must be on the move.

One of the workable action plans for me is to read every morning before I write. Under finance, one of the workable actions for me is to save money weekly and monthly. That is reasonable but it doesn't mean it can also work for you. That's why you must set a workable action plan for yourself to achieve your goal.

Why planning, when what to do comes from the heart of God to me? Why planning when what to achieve is about the kingdom of God? Hmmmm this will be another day's articles but let me show you scripture and why you plan.

I call planning wisdom. Cause not everyone has it but when you ask for it, you have it. In the Book I launched Last year in December, I explained that this wisdom is called wisdom that builds. To build you must be a planner, and goals or desires, build your Destiny if achieved. It's the reason each goal or desire must come from the heart of God, so when achieved destiny is fulfilled.

Luke 14:28 If one of you is planning to build a tower, you sit down first and figure out what it will cost, to see if you have enough money to finish the job.

And in this life, if you're not building, you will be used by others to build. But to balance it, you must be building and be useful to others in their building. Also, others will be useful for you to build. So if you set out to build anything, Family, business, financial life, Ministry, Skill, Business e.t.c you must sit to count the Costs and have a workable action plan for yourself.

In conclusion, Goals are desires set in motion. Many people have great desires, but they don't achieve those desires only because they lack motion. What is the goal? If it is clear, put your life in motion to achieve your Goa. God bless you. Amen.

Let's pray: May the Holy Spirit, Help us this year and hold our hands to achieve whatever is in the hearts of God for our destiny. In Jesus' name Amen.
