A believer that will live above all things on earth must have a promise upon his life that comes from the Above, only what comes from above is above All(John 3:31). The promise of God upon you comes from above to show forth your reality. Every believer, Lives day in and out on the promise of God for them. This promise is upon us, and has been why most of us have not Given up on the journey. The journey is meaningless when you don't know the end of it.
To every believer in Christ Jesus, who lives the Life of God, Jesus promises to Go and prepare a place for Us. We enjoy the journey of Christianity because a place is being prepared for us after this vanity world. This is the reason why most of us have not given up on following Christ. There is this Spirit-Filled song by Theophilus Sunday that says "There Is A Prophecy Over Me” The day I listened to the song, I was hungry to go and check back where I wrote a promise/prophecy about me. This promise Helps us not to give up.
It's not enough to have promises or prophecy upon your life, you must labor like Saint Paul, to finish your course, finishing the course means the promise or Prophecy upon your life, comes to fulfillment. Don't boast about the Promise, but Trust God for the manifestation. Be more eager to See the Manifestation of the promised. St. Paul makes us understand that there is a fight to be fought if the course of the promised will be fulfilled and there is a force that must be kept, the Force of Faith. For every believer to fulfill the promise of God upon their life, The substance of faith must be added to them. FAITH IS THE ONLY ASSURANCE WILL HAVE. AND FAITH IS THE EVIDENCE OF OUR ACTIONS TO RECEIVE GOD'S PROMISE.
Individually, we have the promise of God upon us, the Promise of a better future, the promise of making you a Nation, the Prophecy of taking you around the whole world, the Prophecy of making you a great business person. Promises received via dreams, Vision, Revelation, the Word of God, and Prayers. Any promises you have in your life you fought to see the manifestation or fulfillment. How to prepare to receive the promise.
1) Action of Faith on what was given with the promise.
Each promise or Prophecy always has an action to take when given to you. It's by this action given to you, that you fight for the manifestation of the promise, it's by the action given to you, that you prepare to receive the promise upon you. On 31/ 12/2023 in the RYF yearly retreat, we received a promise from the Lord that he would Remember us this Year 2024, that's why 2024 was Declared a year of Divine Remembrance. But to enjoy this promise, He gives us Action/instructions to fight with to see the fulfillment of the promise. Our responsibility is to Do what he asks us to do about the promise and he will do his supernatural works of remembrance in all areas of our life. Let me share more light by Sharing a scripture with you.
Scripture 1:
Isaiah 56:4,(GNB) The LORD says to such a man, "If you honor me by observing the Sabbath and if you do what pleases me and faithfully keep my covenant,
Isaiah 56:5 (GNB) Then your name will be remembered in my Temple and among my people longer than if you had sons and daughters. You will never be forgotten."
The Action of faith to receive the promise of God for this year is in v4 of the above scripture, which is To Honor God, and How can I do that, the scripture doesn't put us in darkness it says by 1) Observing the Sabbath 2) Do what pleases him 3) faithfully keep his covenant (Than he will remember us this year.). The Action taken determines if the Promise will be received from God, God is faithful, let us be faithful too. Understand the action given to you about the promise or Prophecy upon you. And be faithful to the action of Faith. Some may be given and God will fulfill his promise. Prepare to take Action of faith in the promise. Let God see your Action of faith.
2) Build your capacity to receive his promise in full measure.
You need the capacity to be able to receive the Promise of God for your life If God can create all the universe, create this big world with all resources in it, My God doesn't think small, He is a big God, so his promise for your life is big, but you also need a big capacity to receive his promise in full measure. As a believer, the capacity we have determined our walk and work with God. And part of his promise is in his walk with him.
Lack of capacity building on the promise upon you, leaves your life in ignorance, and the next to ignorance is destruction, My people Perish for lack of knowledge. Invest so much knowledge in the promise upon you. Invest so many prayers. Be intentional about developing yourself. Capacity building to me is categorized into 2.
1) BUILDING YOUR SPIRITUAL CAPACITY
This has to do with your capacity to connect and relate with God. This is fundamental to fulfilling The promise of God upon your life.
Your spiritual capacity helps you understand the will of God for your life about the promise.
The relationship of Abraham with God, helps him to understand when to stay, when to move, when to sow. Have a strong relationship with the owner of the promise.
Humanly speaking, I promised you a house and you started going far away from me. Even no sign of any love from you to me, What do you think will happen to the house I promised you? Our God is jealous and is part of his nature, so to receive his promise, Prepare to build your Spiritual capacity.
2) BUILDING YOUR PROFESSIONAL CAPACITY.
In 2018, I had a dream. I have a big Automobile company that offers the best solution in my location. Then no capacity at all for what I received, no tools, just 20% knowledge about the Automobile works. But I believe whatever comes from the Lord, I document what I received. And in 2019, I received instructions to go and relearn the work I learned for 11 years. To God be the Glory am seeing the manifestation of his promise.
Any promises about your profession need you to build the capacity to make them a reality. It's under the professional I will address all other areas to build, Many things can affect you not to receive the promise in your life. be professionally minded in all areas that you have promised upon you. Capacity for professional financial, Relation, and Mental development. E.t.c
You need knowledge about the promise, so do not destroy the promise yourself.
Finally, Take the responsibility needed to receive the promise of God upon your life, investing knowledge in yourself about the promise. God has promised you, take the Action of Faith and He will deliver all his promises. God bless you.
Let's pray: Let my life manifest the Promises of God in Jesus' name. Amen.
