TIME FOR EXAMINATION.

In a Christian Journey, we need to take a break; a break, yes, I don't mean a break for following Christ or working with Christ, but a break to reexamine yourself. It's discovered that 70% of Christians are working for God, not walking with God.  The Word Examining means to check the condition of something or someone. 

The time of Lent is a period to check yourself; it's a time to take a break and realign your life with your maker. A lent it's time for preparing God's people for the celebration of Christ's resurrection by repentance, self-discipline, and growing closer to God. As Christianity is consigned, we fast for different reasons. Many sometimes fast for a Financial breakthrough, Business Breakthrough, etc., but the period of Lent is mainly focused on Christ. It's a period to be Hunger to know Christ more and journey with him for 40 days. 

Lent, like the story of Jonah, is a period for deep self-examination. It calls for reflection on one’s spiritual life, actions, and relationship with God. A period To Acknowledge Sin and Repent, To Align with God’s Will, To Renew Faith and Commitment, To Grow Spiritually. 

Acts 3:19 – "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord."

It's time to repent and turn to God for mercy.
