THE FATHER IS WAITING
**THE FATHER IS WAITING**
Why do you allow the Father to keep waiting for you? After all He has done for you, you have rejected Him. You received His blessings and breakthroughs for your business and life, yet you ran away to a far town. Our situation is reminiscent of Jonah fleeing from God's presence, forgetting that God is everywhere. He is where you left Him, patiently waiting for your return. He waits for you in love and desire for His children to come back to Him.
O child of the Highest, your Father is waiting. Do you still find pleasure in leaving His presence? Do you still find joy in running away from God? He is interested in you; He still loves you personally. Your situation is like that of the Prodigal Son: "Get up and go to your Father." He is waiting for you to return and repent.
2 Peter 3:9 - "The Lord isn't really being slow about His promise to return, as some people think. No, He is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so He is giving more time for everyone to repent."
The Father wants you to return to Him. Before He returns to Earth, He is being patient just for you. Why do you continue to keep Him waiting? This is a season of repentance. Turn away from your sins and prepare yourself to go back to your Father. He is waiting for your return in repentance. Submit everything that takes you away from the Father. He is waiting.
Luke 15:20 - "So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long distance away, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him."
You have been far away from home. This Lenten season, He is calling you to return to Him through prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. He is waiting to hear your voice of repentance. He is waiting to see your actions as you come back to Him. You may have hurt Him, rejected Him, or turned away, but He watches from afar, patiently waiting for you. He is filled with love and compassion. He understands that your ignorance led you away from Him, but He loves you. He has a plan to embrace you once again, to kiss you, and to welcome you back.
Child of God, "GET UP AND GO BACK TO THE FATHER AND ASK FOR HIS MERCY."
Finally, remember that your prayers for mercy—for yourself and for the whole world—are especially important during this season. This is a cry from my heart to my generation—a call to come back to the Father. He is a loving God, and you are blessed.
**Lent Day 3**
Hope you are going back to God.
