AM YOUNG WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE MY FOCUS?

Have this in you, you can't be young forever. It's our time of youth we can use to invest so much in ourselves. I read a book some years back, and the author describes The Youth as a useful stage. Even if you're an Adult, and useful, the author said you're a youth. He simply said Youthfulness means usefulness. So to advise on this I will simply say as a young person, be so useful in any areas you find yourself.

Proverbs 20:29 The glory of young men is their strength, And the honor of old men is their gray hair.

As young men, our glory is our strength, the strength must be channeled toward what is important to make you live a fulfilled life. A misuse of strength is a misuse of your youthful age. Your strength must be energized on What makes you live a fulfilled Life, God wants you to live. 

Ok, what can I use my strength for? From the study of my youth now, and the Experience learned. Let me share With you some points, I pray the Holy Spirit to give more Understanding.

1) Your Strength Must be for the Lord: as a young man, your strength must be used to build your relationship with God and use for your service of God. Your strength must be to know God more. Have a relationship With him. This is the only one that guarantees exploitation. 

Dan.11.32 - And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

Focus on your relationship with God, know him more. 

2) Your strength Must be used for Developing Yourself: Self-development leads to Self-reliance. As a young person, you must be intentional about focusing on developing yourself in any areas needed: mental development, Relationships with men, Learning skills, and Investing in yourself. In all the getting, get Understanding. Wisdom is the principal thing. 

Am not thinking of youth as an age range, but as a usefulness stage. So invest a lot in your mind. 

3) Focus on building your financial life: This is one of the Areas that takeaway youth from the Kingdom of God. In my generation, youth love to do other things first before the Kingdom. But it's important we balance the equation Focus on God, yourself, and your financial life. Have a legit Plan that Secure your Financial future. 

It's because I am also young. I understand what financial instability can cause a young man. Please Focus on your finances, it can be by reading books, or Getting something to do. E.t.c

Conclusion, The youth age is a season of unusual strength; even the weakness of a youth should be stronger than David -who killed Goliath. Zech 12:8 says "... The feeble among them shall be as David…". Despise idleness, and embrace usefulness. You cannot be called a youth until you are identified with a useful engagement. God bless you.
