EVERY PROMISE IS RECEIVED BASED ON YOUR FAITH.

EVERY PROMISE IS RECEIVED BASED ON YOUR FAITH.
Scriptural Solution Insight (SSI)
Meditation:  Roman 4

When meditating on the Book of Romans, I find out that every promise you receive from God is not received by the law, it's all received by faith. It's faith in what he said to you in the written word or proceed word that delivered to you his promise For you.  Upon every believer, there is a promise, a promise of a Better Future, a promise of peace, a Promise to make you a nation, a Promise not to harm you.  A promise of the vision he told you. A promise of the picture of your destination. A promise that he's sending you to all the world for special assignments.  When it's promised he still means it is not certain now. But still hoping for his fulfillment.

The promise is still a Reason to expect improvement or success; potential. Promises put us in an expecting mood. But with a reason, hope only puts us in expectation,  but no reason for it to happen. Hope is our desire to expect a better future. But God's promise is not about our desire, it's about his desire and the reason he will give us a better future. That's why to say something is a promise it's between two people. As a believer, our promise is between God. This means when we ask and seek from him about something in the future he makes a promise to us, it's made between God and you.  And the belief should not be about you again, it should be about the God that makes the promise with you. Hoping is you expecting God to do something for you. But promise makes God vow to give you what He was hoping to happen to you. Not your hope, but God's hope for you, Not your expectation, but God's expectation for you.

Let's check the case of Abraham

Genesis 17:1
When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the Almighty God. Obey me and always do what is right.

Genesis 17:2 I will make my covenant with you and give you many descendants.”

Genesis 17:3 Abram bowed down with his face touching the ground, and God said,

Genesis 17:4 “I make this covenant with you: I promise that you will be the ancestor of many nations.

Genesis 17:5 Your name will no longer be Abram, but Abraham, because I am making you the ancestor of many nations.

Genesis 17:6 I will give you many descendants, and some of them will be kings. You will have so many descendants that they will become nations.

From the above scripture, you find out that a man of 99 can't have the hope of being a father of many nations. But it's a promise Abraham has to believe.  It's the hope of God for Abraham to be a father of the Nation. For his descendants to be blessed and to become nations it's the hope of God for Abraham and he has to key to the belief for it to be delivered. Every promise from God is received based on the level of our faith in him.

Even Hebrew makes us understand that without faith we can't have anything to hope for, faith makes us sure of his hope for us. Because of what he hoped for Abraham he couldn't see it but he had faith and he was certain that what he did not see but said by God that he would give him will come to fulfillment. Faith is a force needed to achieve anything and hope in God. As one of my brothers would say, Faith is the greatest weapon needed as a Christian.  Faith makes us certain of Every promise that it will be fulfilled.

It was recorded about Abraham in Hebrews 11: 8-12 that everything received by Abraham from God is by faith. It's by faith he received the land promised to him by God, it's also by Faith he became the father of the Nation, Faith is the weapon to make every promise upon you come to fulfillment.

Romans 4:16 And so the promise was based on faith, so that the promise should be guaranteed as God's gift to all of Abraham's descendants—not just to those who obey the Law, but also to those who believe as Abraham did. For Abraham is the spiritual father of us all;

So when you have a promise in your life, you must believe and hope, even when there is no reason for you to hope.  And so the promise will come to fulfillment. I wonder and now understand when God said to me on 10/10/2023 that I should build my faith. Cause without faith nor of his promise will be received.

In conclusion, Faith makes our hope now, we become by faith, and we have the promise by faith. Build your faith. The level of the faith you have determines how the promise will be delivered. Faith helps you not to worry. Jude 1:20 But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, build your faith by praying in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Again faith comes by hearing of God's word 24/7 Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. That's why some who read this write-up always said something touched them, because the word from God, written or proceed brings faith. Beloved, build your faith to obtain every promise by God. God bless you.

Let's pray:  Holy Spirit, Build my faith, grow my Faith. In Jesus' name amen.

Lesson: Faith makes you obtain every promise from God by written words or proceed words.
