ABIDE IN THE VINE

ABIDE IN THE VINE

In the book of John 15:1 Jesus said I am the true vine, God is the Gardner

We are the branches attached to Jesus Christ so as to bear fruit.

That is we still have the evil vine too, they also bear bad fruit, when you abide in the devil, you bears bad fruits.

When we abide in Christ it doesn't only renew our mind but also transformed our desire.

It make us look more like Christ and bear more fruit.

The branch can not do anything on its own, it can't grow, bear fruit unless it abides in the vine to gain more strength and power to produce fruits

When we abide in Christ, we will be able to bear more fruits, live our lives for his glory, it also gives us the ability or connect with other branches.

Jesus said we will bear more fruits when we abides in Him. When you bear more fruits God is been glorified.

When we abide in Christ we pray according to the leading of His Spirit in us.

Jesus said if ye abide in me and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwell in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

You don't have to rush out of Him, you stayed with Him, you don't do things out of His will but according to His will.

What does it means to abide in Christ.

ABIDE IN THE VINE

To connect with Christ, depends on him and continue to grow in Him till we look more like Him.

Any branches who doesn't bear fruits is compared to a deadwood, gathered up and burn them.

If your life doesn't bear fruits it means you are not abiding in Christ.

Abiding means connecting with the vine.

When you abide in Christ, you have union, fellowship and intimacy with Him. You can't do without him anyway.

It means dependence on Him

As the branches can not bear fruits of itself unless it abides in the vine

So for us to bear fruit we must abide in Christ, we must be dependent on him.

When we depend on Him we derive life and power from it, He give us energy, strengthen us, renew our minds.

To abide in Christ means to stay, reside in Him.

When you abide in Christ you don't rush, or do things out of his will.

You don't stay away form him, you have to keep His word and commandments.

You have to follow His leading and work in alignment with His will.

One of the sign you are abiding in Christ is your true love for Him and others

2. You grow at a faster rate and bear more fruit, your life will start to reflect Christ(the vine).

3. You are always connected with Him.

4. You have access to the Father.

Jesus said no one come to the father except through me.

To have fellowship with the father you must abide in Christ

Those that abide in Christ grows likewise those abiding in the devil.

They will both grow at the same time, what will make the difference is the fruit they bear.

When your life is not bearing fruit your Christianity must be challenged.

Even for others to come to Christ you must grow in Him and bear fruit.

Love is a sign you are in Christ.

When times comes those bearing the good fruits will be separated from these bearing the evil one.

You can't be in Christ and your life won't be like Him.

He's the life, in Him we gain our strength, in Him we have the everlasting life, in Him we grow, in Him our lives is transformed and renewed.
