WHAT IS YOUR MIND TELLING YOU
**WHAT IS YOUR MIND TELLING YOU?**
"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." - Proverbs 23:7. Your worth in life is fundamentally a product of how you use your mind. The voice of your mind plays a crucial role in living your best life. God has invested so much in each of us; the difference lies in how effectively we utilize our minds. Just as our spirit as a believer has a voice, so does our mind. I firmly believe in the power of the mind’s communication; the voice from your mind is shaped by the input you allow into it. If you continually feed your mind with things that only nourish your flesh, it will produce negative thoughts. Conversely, if you nourish your mind with spiritual matters, it will communicate life. Thus, the key to the voice you hear from your mind is the quality of input you provide.
**What You Need to Know About the Mind:**
1. **Issues of Life Stem from Your Mind**: Your mind shapes your life profoundly, so it shouldn’t be underestimated. Without the right thoughts coming from your mind, your life will lack direction. Life is filled with challenges. However, as Darius Foroux said in his book *Focus on What Matters*, "Everybody can give meaning to their own situation in life." A positive perspective on life’s challenges originates from the voice within your mind. Whether you perceive issues in a positive or negative light is determined by your mental state.
2. **A Misguided Mind Leads to a Grounded Life**: If your mind isn’t speaking positively, your life will feel stagnant. What worth does a madman possess? None, because he is mentally incapacitated. You are a person of great value, but this value is largely determined by how you utilize your mind. Pay attention to what your mind is telling you. If you notice it’s not guiding you toward a constructive life, it’s time to change what you feed it. Be intentional about the information you allow into your mind to avoid living a mentally grounded life.
3. **Your Mind Determines Your Self-Worth**: The quality of what you program into your mind shapes your self-worth. A person may possess many things, but if their mind isn’t functioning well, they lack true self-worth. Your mind should be more important to you than your possessions. I have encountered many individuals with great wealth but lacking a healthy mind. The voice of your mind dictates how you respond to life’s circumstances.
Just as your spirit has a voice, so does your mind. What your mind communicates is significant. Your worth in life is a product of how you use your mind. Take the time to listen to the voice within you, and be intentional about what it’s conveying. God bless you.
I hope you find this insightful.
