The Weakness of a Man

**The Weakness of a Man**

Man is created perfectly in the image of God. However, once man can make decisions, things change, and imperfect lifestyles begin to emerge in human life.
I was part of a forum where a woman claimed that as believers, everyone needs to be perfect. She expressed disdain for any minister she discovered to have weaknesses. I laughed because I understood that mindset; I had held similar beliefs from 2015 to 2018. I thought that no believer should make mistakes or have any weaknesses. I was self-righteous, believing that everyone should be perfect simply because they had given their lives to Christ.

The truth is, in God's agenda, He desires us to strive for perfection, as He is perfect. It is the spirit of man that seeks perfection, but in our flesh, we cannot achieve it. While it is man's wish to overcome his weaknesses, the flesh often fights against him, making it difficult to reach higher levels of perfection. The spirit is always willing, but the flesh is weak. Since 2019, I have come to understand that we are all human, and perfection is unattainable. We each have our weaknesses, regardless of our anointing; I still perceive you as an imperfect being. We all have weaknesses.

Consider St. Paul, who accessed the third heaven but still acknowledged his weaknesses in life. After his experience, he frequently spoke about his weaknesses in his letters, emphasizing that God's power is made perfect in weakness.

I remind myself never to let my weaknesses prevent me from doing my best. I communicate to those around me, as a man of God, that I am not perfect; it is only by God's grace that I am able to do what I do. Since we all have weaknesses, it is our responsibility, with the help of God, to remain determined not to let our weaknesses hold us back. Many may see your perfection, not realizing that it is through weakness that you strive to do your best. Remember, nobody on Earth is perfect; we all depend on God's grace for our imperfections.

It is also important to continually work on your weaknesses.

Finally, I want to share Matthew 26:41: "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Pray for your weaknesses. God bless you.

Happy New Week.

I hope you find this insightful.
