Fighting the Family Negative Pattern
*Fighting the Family Negative Pattern*
Patterns are real.
Many families are trapped in cycles that quietly limit their progress, generation after generation.
Some families struggle to succeed in business—no matter how hard they try, nothing ever works. Some face consistent battles with childlessness or broken marriages. Others carry invisible timelines—no male lives beyond 40, or no daughter ever stays happily married. These are not coincidences—they are negative patterns, spiritual cycles that must be discerned and broken.
I remember clearly the day God opened my eyes to the pattern in my own family. During prayer, He revealed something I had never noticed before: none of the men in my family line married just one wife and it's always affected their breakthrough.
My grandfather had five wives. My own father? He had about 8 wives. And I realized that if I didn’t take a stand, that same pattern would repeat itself in my life—maybe in a more modern way, but with the same spiritual root.
Right there, I made a bold declaration: " *By the help of God, I will fight this pattern. It ends with me!* "
Breaking negative family patterns is not automatic—it takes intentional spiritual warfare and wisdom. Here’s how to fight it:
1. *Be Aware of the Pattern*
You can’t fight what you don’t recognize. Look around your family—what keeps repeating? What struggles show up in every generation? Identify them.
2. *Make a Strong Decision and Declare God’s Pattern for Your Life*
Don't just avoid the bad—declare the good. Say: “As for me, I will follow God’s pattern. I will marry one wife. I will live long. I will succeed in business. I will break this cycle!”
3. *Stay Spiritually Alert*
Be sensitive to what’s happening around you. Negative patterns don’t always start with big events—they creep in through habits, choices, and compromises. Be watchful.
*4. Stay in Prayer and the Word*
Battles are not won by willpower alone. You must stay connected to God through fervent prayer and deep study of His Word. “Through God we shall do valiantly…” – Psalm 60:12
5. *Seek Knowledge to Defeat Ignorance*
Many patterns thrive because of ignorance. Learn. Grow. Listen to teachings. Read books. Attend spirit-filled gatherings. Knowledge is power—and ignorance keeps people in bondage.
“Christ has redeemed us from the curse…” – Galatians 3:13
You are not bound to repeat what your parents or ancestors did. Through Christ, you are empowered to break cycles and begin new ones. Let the line be drawn with you. It stops here. And something new begins.
Ask yourself: What patterns keep repeating themselves in my family? Fight the negative patterns before it's fight you.
Hope it's Insightful.
