WHEN FACING THE HARDEST OBSTACLES: WHAT TO KNOW AND THE WAY FORWARD** (Article 5)

**WHEN FACING THE HARDEST OBSTACLES: WHAT TO KNOW AND THE WAY FORWARD** (Article 5)

I promise God and myself that I will finish this article because I strongly believe it is meant for someone I was inspired to write about. Obstacles are real, and when you encounter them in your life, nothing seems meaningful. You may start thinking of permanent solutions to what are actually temporary problems. Problems are an inherent part of life. Every day, humans create problems, and every day we seek solutions to the problems we create.

The scriptural solutions provided in my articles are more than just theory; they have been proven by many, including myself, to be life and spirit. When applied to your life, they bring deep revelation and guidance. As a student of the Word, you will come to understand that no obstacles are permanent. Every difficult problem is temporary. I realized this in 2018 when I came across 1 Peter 5:10: “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.”

So don’t panic when facing any of the hardest obstacles; remember that they are temporary, and no problem is forever unless you define it that way. Seek solutions from God through His Word and prayer. There are times when challenges feel overwhelming, and the words of others may not resonate with you. In those moments, you need to allow God to be your inner strength. We are often easily overcome by what strengthens our inner being, and to surmount any challenges, we must rely on God’s power, wisdom, and presence.

I remember October 12, 2020, when I faced a particularly difficult problem that left me feeling utterly confused. When the issue arose, I heard God tell me to be silent. I obeyed and remained silent while crying, which only compounded my confusion. I was fearful, weak, and unable to make any sound decisions. It's important to recognize that your own strength and wisdom can fail you in the face of daunting challenges, which is why we must allow God to be our inner strength at all times. I called my brothers and a sister I was staying with, and together we went out in the middle of the night to pray. We prayed without regard for time until God’s wisdom, power, and presence enveloped us. After our prayer, I received renewed inner strength and solutions to the problems I was facing. Suddenly, I felt ready to confront these difficulties, and the mountains in my life became calm because I allowed Jesus to be my inner strength.

To allow God to be your inner strength, you must rely completely on His power, presence, and wisdom to face life’s challenges. In doing so, you will find the peace and resilience that comes from trusting in a higher power.

2 Corinthians 12:9 states, “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

You must not neglect to approach the throne of grace; it is through His sufficient grace that His power is perfected in your weakness. Allowing God to be your inner strength involves surrendering control to Him, drawing on divine peace, living by faith, finding your identity in God, and seeking strength through prayer and Scripture. With this, His grace will be sufficient for any difficult challenges you may face; even in the presence of the hardest obstacles, everything will ultimately work for your good.

In closing, I find it discouraging because I value consistency in everything I do. However, for many who strive to live meaningful lives, I ask that you keep me in your prayers. I keep you all in my thoughts, and we have two more articles to finish this topic. I believe that whoever this article is meant for will find it, and if that’s not the case yet, I pray for God's guidance in helping that person discover it, and that Jesus’ grace may be sufficient for them. Amen.
