PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR ACTION (Series 3)
**PREPARE YOUR MIND FOR ACTION (Series 3)**
In Series One, I discussed the mindset needed for separation and clarity of direction. Series Two focused on having a growth mindset. In today’s series, I will briefly discuss the mindset that requires you to take responsibility for your life.
You need to prepare your mind to be accountable. An accountability mindset helps you understand that no one is coming to save you; you must save yourself and make things work. The right mindset will guide you throughout the year. Stop blaming others for the outcomes in your life. Prepare your mind to acknowledge that you are responsible for everything in your life.
To be honest, you are only accountable to God and yourself. Prepare your mind for this reality. Everything you do is accountable to God. As a believer, we act because we believe that it is God who rewards our efforts. The God who rewards us will hold us accountable for the days of our lives and the activities that shape our destiny. Let’s consider two scriptures:
**Romans 14:12**: "So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God."
Accountability is an individual responsibility; each of us will ultimately report on our actions. This is why, as believers, we cannot live our lives carelessly. We must live with a sense of accountability. One day, we will give an account to the Lord. As we approach the end of this year, adopt a mindset of accountability to God for all aspects of your life, and prepare to continue this accountability into the next year. After being accountable to God, the next step is to be accountable to yourself.
Your life, your business, your ministry, your family, and your destiny are all your responsibility. You need to prepare your mind to be accountable for all the areas of life that matter to you. Taking accountability for your life will help you identify areas that need improvement, development, or attention. As I mentioned earlier, no one is coming to save you. It is your responsibility to take charge of your life. While encouragement can come from fellow believers, you have to take the necessary actions.
**Galatians 6:5**: "For each one should carry their own load."
Each of us must prepare our minds to carry our responsibilities and be accountable for everything in our lives. The day you realize that no one is coming to save you is the day you begin saving yourself.
Ask yourself: What areas of my life am I not being accountable for?
- Am I accountable for my spiritual life?
- Am I accountable for my finances?
- Am I accountable for my assignments?
- Am I accountable for my destiny?
- Am I accountable for my mission?
- Am I accountable for my business?
What actions do I need to take to become more accountable?
In conclusion, a prepared mind inwardly leads to outward manifestation. I will be wrapping up this series on Wednesday. We have begun planning for the launch of my book titled *The Pictures of the Future*. Take the time to prepare your mind. God bless you.
