DON'T JUST PRAY FOR A BETTER 2025; PLAN TO TAKE CHARGE OF 2025

*DON'T JUST PRAY FOR A BETTER 2025; PLAN TO TAKE CHARGE OF 2025.*

I have often faced criticism from friends regarding the way I approach planning my life. I believe that prayer alone is not the key to fulfilling our destinies; planning is equally important. I pray to receive guidance on how to plan, how to address various matters and to maintain a strong connection with my Father. My planning is driven by the instructions I receive through prayer. I believe that our faith in Jesus should enhance our wisdom in managing our lives.

Let me elaborate on this idea. While on a business trip, I noticed numerous Christian programs, revivals, and crusades in each town we visited. While these events are valuable, a comment from our driver made me think. He remarked that it seems most people seek God more in December. Upon reflection, I realized that not everyone is praying for genuine revival; rather, many are simply asking for a better New Year. There’s nothing inherently wrong with this, but while we engage in prayer, we also need to dedicate time to planning for a better year. Praying without planning is playing without Knowing.

I know many believers who operate primarily on revelation knowledge, yet practical wisdom is also essential. The tasks we need to accomplish come with principles that must be applied for success. Take the time to plan for 2025. Planning doesn't mean we won't be directed or helped by God; His guidance is crucial as we create our plans.

Proverbs 19:21 states, "You can make many plans, but the LORD's purpose will prevail." Making plans gives us a roadmap to navigate the upcoming year. The scripture encourages us to make plans, yet I notice some believers failing to plan while merely praying for a better New Year. Without planning, we cannot expect a better year. Although we can make our plans, the final decision and direction rest in God’s hands. I have both achieved unplanned goals this year and struggled with planned ones, reflecting the purposes God has for me.

So, don't just pray for a better 2025; plan for it as well. In your planning, rely completely on God for His purpose to prevail. Proverbs 16:3 says, "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." When you commit your plans to God, they will flourish.

Finally, I am excited to announce that tomorrow we will begin promoting my new book, which is set to launch on December 29, 2024. Please get ready to support my vision of impacting lives through my writing. I appreciate you all. God bless you.
