We're in a period where everyone is facing one thing or another in Nigeria. But it's time to remain strong in the Lord. Encouragement may not be coming through Man. May not Come through Friends. But let it come from the Lord. This is not the time to go against each other. It's time you need to know that the rain 🌧️ is falling on everyone. It's on the poor and the Rich,  On unbelievers and believers. 

No matter the rain that is falling, the sower will benefit from What it has to reward. No matter the hardships in the Country, People who trust in the Lord and Sow right can't see what the nation is passing through as permanent suffering. The falling of the Rain, I mean the Hardships on everyone, still can't affect those who Encourage themselves in the Lord. Our happiness, Joy, Peace, and what to achieve should not be controlled by the present rain in the country.  "Let the Lord encourage you during this period. Trust in His strength and guidance to carry you through any challenges you may face. Lean on your faith, and remember that you are never alone."

Let me use 1 Samuel 30 to explain the invasion of Amalekites to the south and Ziklag. 

1Sam.30.1 - And it came to pass when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

1 Sam.30.2 - And had taken the women captives that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

1 Sam.30.3 - So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.

1 Sam.30.4 - Then David and the people that were with him lifted their voices and wept until they had no more power to weep.

1 Sam.30.5 - And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.

1 Sam.30.6 - And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

1 Sam.30.7 - And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.

1 Sam.30.8 - And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.

It's a long story, but let me break each point one after the other. According to verse 2, Their Wives and children were taken away. It means the rain is on every one of Them. It means everyone has pain in their heart. The Pain doesn't exclude David His two wives were also in captivity. 

David, because of the pains, first forgets that His strength comes from the Lord. Verse 4 said they  "....wept until they had no more power to weep." Imagine the kind of pain everyone is in. Even David, the man after God's heart, weeps until he has no strength again. This is the situation where we all find ourselves in my Nation. Everyone is weeping and has no strength to weep again. Our case is more than weeping now; let's face the reality. We have complained about the bad government. Nor seem to come to our help. The rain of hardship in the country is on Christian, Muslim, and traditional. E.t.c everyone is Weeping. 

Our soul is grieving because of the situation in this Country, But David discovered that Weeping can't bring back their Wives and children. They need to take the right steps to bring back their loving wives and children.  It's also in relation to this country's Situation. Our Weeping, crying, and complaining can't bring this nation back to a Productive Nation. We need to do the necessary things and take the necessary steps. After David saw that all people were grieving, HE ENCOURAGED HIMSELF IN THE LORD. 

When everyone is Weeping in this country, Grieving can't solve your problem. Encourage yourself in the Lord. And take the Right Step, so you can escape the rain. To Encourage yourself in the Lord is to be strengthened by Him in Prayer and studying the Word of God. David Consultant the Lord on what to Do. V 8 "And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? Shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.". 

Encourage yourself to go to the presence of God and make inquiries from him about the steps to take in a period like this. The Lord says to David after he enquires from him, Pursue, for thou shalt surely overtake them, and recover all. The Word that comes from God should be our encouragement in a time like this in this Nation. Seek God's guidance about how to stop weeping over what to Do. 

Finally, The Lord can't forget anyone who calls upon his name; He loves his own. And ready to give directions to his own. Stop weeping, Encourage yourself by going to his presence, and ask him what to do to be sowing and productive in a period like this in this Nation. Don't forget to pray for Peace tomorrow.
