5 Ps LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP.

Anybody from any background, tribe, or religion can be a leader; in my study about leadership for some months, I understand leadership as Just one word. INFLUENCE. Leadership is About the Influence. And when you closely look into your life, you discover that you're a leader. Cause In one way or another you influence some people. The way you influence people now determines the kind of leader you are; that's why I want you to know about the 5 PS LEVELS OF LEADERSHIP.

Let's continue, every one of us has the potential to become a Leader. Leadership can be developed and improved by anyone willing to put in the effort. The very secret I have learned so far to become true leaders who influence others is to get clarity about your life first. The clarity about you gives you a sense of Vision, and with Vision, you can be able to define your leadership. One of the books of John C. Maxwell on leadership is titled Developing the Leader Within You. Quotes: "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way." Your ability to know the way, go the way, and show the way. Makes you have a strong influence on others. People don't follow those who don't know the road.

From my study and experience as a leader of some organizations, movements, businesses e.t.c I understand that you don't wait to have a position before you start developing the leader within you. If you can influence someone around you positively you're a leader. Leadership is influenced. Everyone Influences someone, title or position doesn't matter. When to avoid Long articles let me talk about 5ps levels of leadership. This Level helps you to increase your Influence, which helps you to become a true leader. The focus should not be to be a leader but to influence someone. The ability to influence brings recognition. Recognition births your leadership.

In the book Developing Leaders Within You, John C. Maxwell said Influence can be developed in five stages. The 5 PS is Position, Permission, Production, People Development, and Pinnacle. 

Let's learn more. Each level determines where you're in leadership. 
Level 1 (Position leaders): The people you influence HAVE to follow the leader(Your position gives you authority).
 Level 2 (Permission leaders) The People you influence WANT to follow the leader (Your caring Makes people follow you).
 Level 3 (Production Leaders): The people you influence APPRECIATE AND ADMIRES the leader because of what he or she has done for them or the team, Organization, business, etc (Your Productivity Makes people follow you).  
Level 4 (People Development) The People You Influence become LOYAL to the leader because of what the leader has done for him or her Personally. ( Grow them, make people follow you).
 Level 5 (Pinnacle)  influences people based on your reputation (People follow you because you have Achieved levels 1 and 2,3&4) 

In conclusion, Leadership is a journey that everyone should embrace. Everyone is a leader in one way or another. Leadership is influenced. I will recommend you get a book by John C. Maxwell. (Developing the Leader within you) God bless you.
