Stop Worrying Yourself About Things That Have a Solution
Stop Worrying Yourself About Things That Have a Solution
Long ago, I discovered that worry is one of the greatest tools the enemy uses to steal the peace of mind of humans. So, I made a decision to train my mind not to worry about things. Through study, prayer, and meditation, I came to understand that not everything deserves my worry because most things that trouble us already have a solution.
Instead of worrying, I choose to seek the solution or even create one. Once your mind is trained to focus on finding solutions, you begin to worry less. You must learn to discipline your thoughts: stop feeding your mind with worry and start focusing on solutions.
You think you’re poor? That’s a worry but it also has a solution. You’re in debt? That’s another worry but it too has a solution.
Instead of focusing on the problem, focus on what to do and how to do it. Every problem becomes smaller when your energy is directed toward solving it, not fearing it.
One thing I’ve also learned is to avoid focusing on what I cannot control. Worrying about things outside your control drains your peace and strength. So, I focus only on what I can control:
I can control myself.
I can control what I do.
I can control how I respond.
That’s where peace begins.
Let Me Share With You: How to Stop Worrying When Worry Arises
1️⃣ I Pray Away the Worry: When I sense anxiety rising, I turn to God in prayer. Prayer replaces worry with faith.
2️⃣ I Face the Worry with a Solution: Instead of avoiding the problem, I ask myself, “What can I do about this?” Then I act on it.
3️⃣ I Seek Knowledge Above the Worry: Many worries exist because of ignorance. The more I learn, the clearer my path becomes. Knowledge opens doors that fear tries to shut.
Matthew 6:27 (NIV)“Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” so why worry?
finally, Stop worrying about things that have a solution. Your energy is too valuable to waste on fear and anxiety. Pray, seek wisdom, and focus on what you can control because with God, there’s always a way out.
Let's Win together this week.
