**WHEN FACING THE HARDEST OBSTACLES: WHAT TO KNOW AND THE WAY FORWARD** (Article 6)
**WHEN FACING THE HARDEST OBSTACLES: WHAT TO KNOW AND THE WAY FORWARD** (Article 6)
Happy New Month to all our readers! The past few months have been a rollercoaster, but with the help of God, we will stand strong. I dislike inconsistency, and one of the hardest obstacles, such as procrastination, can prevent us from being consistent in our assignments. As we start this new month, I pray that we all receive the grace to remain consistent in the tasks assigned to us by God. Amen.
Out of the seven articles I was inspired to write about overcoming the hardest obstacles, today I will be sharing the sixth. I hope to complete the series on Wednesday. I encourage you to read the other articles on this topic, learn from them, and apply their teachings to your life.
I once spoke with someone who felt overwhelmed by their problems, saying, "This difficult situation is too much for me. Everyone has left me, even my family; I feel alone in this struggle." It's true that sometimes people distance themselves from those facing significant challenges. As J.C. Ryle mentions in one of his books, we should prepare to stand alone. At times, we must recognize that being physically alone can be necessary; if we don't let go, people may choose to leave.
Often, people gravitate towards those who seem to be successful rather than to those facing difficulties. However, as believers, we know that love must be extended to everyone. It is also important to remember that you are not spiritually alone, and today’s article aims to remind you that God is with you.
When you're facing obstacles, it’s essential to recognize that you’re not alone on this journey. God is with you, angels are with you, and the saints are with you. It’s your responsibility to affirm to yourself that God is present in your struggles. The voice of God can guide you through difficult times. Here are two scriptures to encourage you:
**Scripture 1:**
Joshua 1:9 - "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
This was God's message to Joshua after Moses died, reminding us that challenges will arise. His instruction is to be strong and courageous. Everyone faces discouragement, but the Lord assures us not to be terrified or discouraged, for He is with us wherever we go. The critical question is:
Is God your Lord? Only those who accept Him as Lord can enjoy the benefits of His presence during the toughest challenges. When He is your Lord, I can confidently tell you that you are not alone. Make Him your Lord, and you will feel His constant presence by your side.
**Scripture 2:**
Isaiah 43:2 - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
What more proof do you need? This promise reassures us that God will be with us even when we face overwhelming challenges. The waters represent situations that could "drown" you emotionally, spiritually, or physically. "Passing through" indicates that these hardships are not permanent; with God’s help, you will come through them.
In conclusion, as you navigate life’s storms, hold onto the confidence that God’s power, presence, and protection are with you. God bless you. Amen.
